Onguma Forest Camp is along the dry Omuramba Ovambo riverbed close to the thatch-roofed communal area. All bungalows feature a private terrace with seating, a bathroom with a shower, mini-safe, mini bush bar, air-conditioning, ceiling fan and tea and coffee-making facilities. There are also heaters available in winter.

Onguma Forest Camp is unfenced; no children under seven years will be allowed. Children 7 to 11 years of age sharing with adults pay children’s rate. Children 12 and above will be in a family room at the total rate. Game drives are on open safari vehicles, so children under ten years cannot join game drive vehicles for safety reasons.

• For families, we offer three Bush Suites, including two bedrooms, one with a day bed and the second with two twin beds.
• An inter-leading bathroom separates the rooms.

Getting There

Onguma Forest Camp is adjacent to Etosha National Park. As soon as you drive through the gate, you will find yourself in the African wilderness.

It’s easy to find us:
Coming from the east: follow the B1 to the north/Etosha direction, turn left onto C38, and reach the lodge after 25 km directly on the right-hand side of the Etosha gate. Then, follow the signs for 13 km along a natural bush road and find the lodge.

Coming from the west: leave Etosha at von Lindequist Gate. You immediately turn left into the Onguma Reserve and follow the signs. You will find the lodge after 13 km of natural bush road.
