Onguma Bush Camp

Onguma Bush Camp is within the Onguma Game Reserve. It borders on the eastern side of the Etosha National Park at Fisher's Pan. The lodge's central area overlooks an active waterhole where guests can view the game coming for a drink from the comfort of the lounge or swimming pool.

Of the 18 Onguma Bush Camp rooms, seven can accommodate families. This is the only Camp on Onguma Game Reserve with a fence and is safe for a family safari. Here the children can explore in safety.

The Camp can arrange game drives in the Onguma Game Reserve and the Etosha National Park. Being a private game reserve, night drives and interpretive bush walks are additional activities.

Accommodation and Facilities

Onguma Bush Camp consists of twin bed rondavel rooms, twin bed standard rooms which include three rooms with a children's sleeping area in the loft, twin bed Waterhole/Pool Side Rooms, one family unit with four beds, one Settler's Room as well as two single tour guide rooms.

Guests can enjoy the swimming pool and thatched bar. Relax in the lounge and dining area that overlooks the extensive waterhole. There's also small children's activity area. Free Wi-Fi is available to guests as hotspots.

Onguma Bush Camp Rooms:

• Eight twin-bedded standard rooms
• 3 of these have a loft sleeping area for two children
• Six twin-bedded Waterhole and Pool View Rooms – with views over the waterhole
• Three family units with four beds
• 1 Settlers room (formerly the Honeymoon suite) which has its lounge area

Child Policy

• Children under the age of 3 years stay free of charge
• Children aged three up to 11 years who are sharing with adults have a separate rate
• The rate for children sharing with adults is a nett rate and includes specific meals
• Children 12 and above stay in their room at a total price
• 3 of the Waterhole view rooms are in an unfenced section of the Camp, therefore not recommended for children
• Onguma Bush Camp is primarily fenced-in. However, adult supervision of children is required at all times
• GAME DRIVES ARE ON OPEN SAFARI VEHICLES. FOR SAFETY REASONS, CHILDREN UNDER 10 YEARS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON GAME-DRIVE VEHICLES.
