Getting There
Fly-in: The Okutala Lodge has a newly built airfield with a compact gravel runway of 1.4km. The coordinates are: S 19 32:790 // E 015 46:540
Drive: Okutala Etosha Lodge is about 400km north of Windhoek's capital. The shuttle bus can pick you up at Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek.
The recent wildfire did not affect main tourist routes, rest camps, or accommodation infrastructure. Etosha is fully open, safe, and already showing exciting green regrowth that attracts wildlife.
