ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Gaze over the sparse plains from your private viewing deck at this modern, comfortable Safarihoek Lodge. The lodge is less than 112km from the Andersson gate of the park. Guests can also sit back and enjoy wildlife sightings on the premises throughout the day – and night!
Guests can enjoy morning and afternoon game drives on the 600 square-kilometre Etosha Heights Reserve, from the Safarihoek Lodge. The black and rhino are the icons of this area. There’s a unique photography hide by the water hole that allows guests to get close to the wildlife. Guests can even spot the elusive black and white rhino, the icons of the area. You can wrap up warm for a night drive and locate the nocturnal creatures of the reserve.
The intense quiet of the landscape allows for perfect African wildlife sightings. There are no fences around the lodge! You have a 180-degree view from this hilltop – even while in the swimming pool. There’s also a large fire-pit with cushions to sit around the fire. Guests can enjoy hearty meals prepared by the cooks, who also take special dietary requirements into account. Please tell us if you want to eat vegan or Halaal when booking your stay. We arrange Bush meals and picnics can with prior notice.
The rooms are designed to be super comfortable, providing guests with everything they need after a safari on the Namibian plains. There are clean linens, cold drinks to enjoy next to the swimming pool. An Air-conditioner waiting for you when you get to the lodge. Safarihoek Lodge truly is a respite after a hot day in the desert when you want to get the sand out of…everywhere. And bathe in moisturiser because your skin will need it.
In chillier months guests can view the scenery through the large windows while sipping a drink from the coffee station. There’s also a fireplace in the main lounge area. You can gaze over the plains while warming up and hopefully spot an elephant or aardvark as they like to pass by when it’s colder.
The Safarihoek Lodge boasts a trendy restaurant and bar. This Lodge is not your average farm-style getup. It is rather a welcome change of scenery and a dose of style. The architecture is designed to showcase the natural beauty of the Namibian plains and the creatures that call this sparse, yet hauntingly beautiful land their home. Make your dream of drinking in this unique landscape a reality and book a stay at Safarihoek Lodge near Etosha National Park.
We also arrange accommodation and safari packages. We tailor these to your needs! Contact our Etosha National Park accommodation and safari experts for more information.
