Ai-Ais Hot Springs Resort is situated at the end of the Fish River Canyon. During the winter months, many a hiker take on the challenging 85 km Fish River Canyon Hiking Trail. This trail starts at the viewpoint of the Fish River Canyon and meanders towards the Ai-Ais Hot Springs. These natural springs soothe tired bodies, and the resort offers some much-deserved comfort.
Guests can laze in the thermal pool inside or the refreshing pools outside. There's also a spa where you can go for massages.
Ais Ais Hot Springs Resort and its adjacent camping site are both situated in the Ai-Ais Richtersveld Transfrontier Park. The main Hobas viewpoint is 80km from the resort.
The Ais Ais camping sites offer shady campsites, hot shower ablutions and a small souvenir shop. Campers also have access to the pools and restaurant.
River View Rooms have an en-suite bathroom with a bath, air-conditioning and a tea/coffee station. There is also an outdoor shower.
Mountain View Rooms have an en-suite bathroom with a shower, air-conditioning and a tea/coffee station.
There are also 7 Family Bush Chalets which are self-catering units perfect for families or groups. They sleep four people in each cottage. All have en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning. The kitchen has a microwave, kettle, pots, pans, plates and cutlery. They also have two verandas: one with a river view and one with a mountain view
