Accommodation in Etosha National Park have been upgraded.
The three main camps are very popular and often are visited by all travellers to Etosha National Park. The main camps are Halali, Namutoni and Okakuejo, offering accommodation and camping. These all have waterholes with great photographic opportunity. The more exclusive accommodation is Onkoshi Camp and Dolomite Camp. Our exclusive camps are more focused on the discerning visitor and does not offer camping facilities. If you would like to spoil yourself on the areas less travelled these two camps of Onkoshi and Dolomite comes highly recommended.
We recommend that you make your travel arrangements well in advance , especially over the local holiday and traveller seasons. a Minimum stay of three days are recommended when visiting Etosha National Park. The park is a vast open area and it does not make sense to rush your experience in Namibia’s Most recommended wildlife region. There are many accommodation facilities in the form of lodges, camps and working farm accommodation around the borders of Etosha National Park. Accommodation in the park is more convenient to the keen wildlife enthusiasts. Staying in the park enables you to have early departures from your camp or accommodation. The Gate times are according to the seasons and one can use the sunrise and sunset as a parameter for opening times in the park. Staying in the park offers great wildlife sightings at the watering holes of all three main camps. Excellent photographic opportunities and wildlife sightings at night.
Staying outside the park offers great options – however you will not be able to enter the park for early game drives. There is a variety of very well build and luluxurioustays outside the park. One can stay outside the park and plan your daily visit to the national park. Most lodges outside the park offer game drives or one can do a self drive in the park.
